Kid on a Sailboat

Safety & Responsibility

Family boat trips and adventure boating are some of the best things to do in Salcombe. At the centre of our operations, we prioritise safety. Salcombe Powerboat Charter is owned and run by RYA Powerboat Instructors and highly experienced skippers, licensed to operate vessels three times the size of our RIB.

'Maveric' is a brand-new MCA Coded Rigid Inflatable Boat, meaning that all safety equipment is certified far beyond our requirements. Our engine is serviced in accordance with Suzuki Marine UK's standards by an accredited Suzuki Marine Service Centre.

The skippers are trained for all eventualities and know their capabilities, therefore, you must appreciate their decisions and instructions.

Before the charter, an in-depth safety briefing video will be sent to you online, along with the terms and conditions. These have been made to ensure safe operation so that you can get the most from your powerboat charter!

Briefings and terms & conditions can be seen before booking below!
